She starts every month with a silly mantra—unsure where the tradition came from, the double words hop out of her mouth like the animals they represent. It’s special in the spring, when the earth grows fuzzy like the ears of a bunny and the air turns sweet and savory as a slice of cake. She hopes for a month of soft inspiration.
